We have not completed nutritional testing on our menu items. The nature of our local, organic, artisan ingredient sourcing and made-from-scratch kitchens make nutritional testing more difficult than at large chain restaurants. We enjoy varied, seasonal sourcing, which requires frequent adjustment of our recipes. To offer correct and complete nutritional information, we would have to undergo testing every time we changed recipes, ingredients or producers—dozens of times per year.
Our salads may be prepared without gluten, just skip the croutons! Our other prepped ingredients, including lentils, fries and falafel are all gluten free. While we are gluten-free friendly, we are not celiac-safe, unfortunately, due to the presence of flour in our kitchens.

Even with processes and procedures in place, we are mindful that we are not an allergen-free facility. As such, we cannot guarantee that any item is free of any allergen. While we regret that this may disappoint some guests, we feel strongly about being transparent about what we can and cannot guarantee..
Because all of our dishes are prepared-to-order, our normal kitchen operations may involve shared cooking and preparation areas. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any menu item can be completely free of allergens.
Primarily to avoid allergens (peanut), we only use EVOO and canola oil at Brassica. In fact, canola is made from a member of the Brassica genus. We use 100% canola oil for our Brassica fries and falafel.
We do offer a kids plate for guests 12 and younger! Just ask your host when ordering. We also have high chairs and booster seats and changing tables available in our restrooms.
Our restaurants all feature friendly, casual counter-service. We welcome our guests to order their food, help themselves to the beverage of their choice, and select the perfect spot to dine. We don’t offer reservations, but eating in our restaurants outside of peak dining hours will make for a faster visit!
Most of our restaurants can comfortably seat groups of up to 8 guests. It is usually best to come in during quieter hours of service to ensure a comfortable fit for your party. We do not offer any private dining rooms at this time.
Brassica is family- and operator-owned. At this time we do not have any franchise opportunities (although it sure is sweet of you to think of us!).

No experience required. What’s most important to us is your energy, enthusiasm, your ability to move quickly — and your love for taking care of people. Our excellent training programs will get you up to speed on the rest.
Usually, we have part-time and full-time hours available. You must be available to work at least three days per week, and you must be willing to work on at least one of our busiest days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
When you work at least the minimum, you’ll progress through all of our stages of training at a reasonable pace. That way, you’ll feel confident in what you’re doing and make a strong contribution to the team.
New team members usually start by learning the basics and focusing on friendly interactions with guests.
Our training is progressive. Once you master a station, we’ll move you to the next station for training, and you’ll continue to move forward from there.
No. You can give us the hours you prefer, like mornings, evenings, or certain days. However, you’ll become adept at all stations in the restaurant more quickly the more flexible your availability is.
Tips are pooled together and distributed every two weeks via paycheck, based on the number of hours worked. We LOVE Tip Share because it ensures that we work as a team!
The added bonus of Tip Share is that while we expect everyone to help on our busiest days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), team members make the same wage any day of the week, making it easier to have a balanced schedule without having to worry about how it affects your income.
Yes.
Our goal is to post schedules at least two weeks (or more) in advance.
Yes! We LOVE promoting from within. Nearly 50% of our management team are former team members. We also offer the opportunity to grow into a Shift Lead position, which is the perfect stepping stone into a management position with us.
Our hiring process consists of two interviews and a realistic job preview. During the realistic job preview you will have the opportunity to shadow a team member for four hours. As a thank you, we’ll send you $25 and invite you to enjoy a dine-in shift meal from the menu.
We’ll get in touch shortly after the preview to let you know if we have a position to offer you.
